Spiritual Support in Chronic or Progressive illness
Spiritual support can add additional value to the patient's relationship to his or her life, family, and even caregivers. This allows the patient a new perspective on illness, life and the future.
Some people and families turn to faith in times of crisis to help their recovery, while others find that spiritual practices help them continue to manage their health and the adversities they face.
My work is based on spiritual support and/or support through meditation.
As we learn more and more about the connections between mind and body, it becomes clear that spirituality, religion, and faith can help some people live resilient with the conditions of their illness.
Some people and families turn to faith in times of crisis to help their recovery, while others find that spiritual practices help them continue to manage their
health and the adversities they face.
Regardless of one's religious or spiritual beliefs, if you need support in this matter, you can get it.
It is natural for sick people, families and friends to wonder about existential issues that touch a deep spirituality that they had never thought of before.
Sometimes it is not about the divinity they need, or about God or religion, but just a need to talk about the meaning of life.
Reflecting on these and other matters is very important and can help in making decisions about the disease and the future.
Meditation in the context of chronic or progressive disease
Time is not a label for the universe. It is, by the way, an illusion we recognize as soon as we begin to meditate.
So stress disappears, tranquility invades your life through every crack, every fold in your brain.
I do this training meditation in schools, companies and outpatient office.
We all know from personal experience that human mind never interrupts its unbridled activity. It is discursive, dualistic and always in need of an external reference point to function.
Through this constant activity we act, plan, manipulate, are sometimes pessimistic and validate our lives through fragmented experiences with which we never feel serene.
That is the challenge: to calm down, calm the thought and focus the attention.
Sounds simple, doesn't it?
It will be simple certainly but not easy to achieve.
Therefore, through the work I do with my patients and clients, I guide those who want to start their activity in the area of meditation.
Start changing your life today.
It just depends on you.
Meditation, an ancestral practice of Eastern origin, was brought to the West in the 1970s and 1980s.
Since then it has been growing in popularity.
Although there are many misunderstandings in the use of meditation, I take it very seriously.
So I graduated from university and studied to transform my meditative practice into a healthy and refreshing mental path.
According to current scientific knowledge, to meditate is to raise the state of consciousness, focusing attention on the present and deepening the ability to be connected to each other and to the permanent dynamism of life.
