The value of activity plans in old age dementia

An adult or elderly person who has suffered a brain dysfunction or disease, in particular Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, depending on the stage of the disease, will need neuropsychological assistance to organize and rehabilitate his life, always taking into consideration the disease, its phase, and/or the affected brain areas.

This Plan includes intervention and neuropsychological rehabilitation activities that may prevent or halt the progression of the disease or rehabilitate the patient (if the disease is not neurodegenerative).

A Daily Plan that includes tasks planned and assisted by this caregiver can also increase a the patient's sense of dignity and self-esteem by giving meaning to their daily lives.
